The VA must approve degree and certificate programs for eligibility for veteran benefits. This approval is done in conjunction with state agencies in Olympia.
Many of the academic programs at the UW are eligible for veteran benefits. Before you register for classes, it is recommended that you verify your program is eligible if you intent to use benefits to pay your tuition and fees.
If you are seeking a dual major or have a declared minor, you must complete a multiple objective programs form and have it signed by your departmental advisor. This form is also used if you are changing your minor.

Certificate programs are approved separately for veteran benefits by the Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board and the VA.
